Grayscale mode in mac11/25/2023 ![]() You can actually tell that my hair is dark with streaks of grey (I prefer to think there isn't as much as it appears on screen)! The midtones are similar, but there's more depth and contrast. This photo was created using the method above with one of the preset duotone ink sets. Not only that, but it appears that I have a full head of grey hair. The results look ok, but if you notice that the entire image now looks even flatter. Below you see the photo converted to grayscale simply by going to Image > Mode > Grayscale. It's got a good range of color but at the same time, it's kind of flat.
